Open Letter to Mindy Jacobs of SunMedia

In response to: Peace Dove Better Dive for Cover

Ms.Jacobs:
I read with absolute and utter amazement your one sided attack piece on "Muslims/Palestinians" today in the Toronto Sun and felt compelled to reply, just so that you are aware that not all of us are compelled to acquiesce to the constant Zionist lie machine that is such an integral part of the Western and shamefully, the Canadian media.
Many more Canadians, including Jewish Canadians, are starting to feel the same way about Israel and Zionist journalists like yourself who present their one sided views, day after day without so much as a opportunity for retort from the other perspective.

You talk about how "hatred" from "extremist Muslims". Lets take a little look at the hatred that emanates from Israel and its representatives.
Lets start with former Israeli President Moshe Katsav:
"There is a huge gap between us and our enemies, not just in ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience. They are our neighbors here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are people who do not belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong to a different galaxy." The Jerusalem Post, May 10, 2001
Sounds pretty racist and intolerant to me.
Or maybe we can ask heroic Israeli President Golda Meir about the "so-called" Palestinians:
"There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed." Golda Maier Israeli Prime Minister June 15, 1969
Hence, the push in recent years by radical Zionists to delegitimize Palestinians by pretending that they are mere legends, as you so eloquently put it.
Yes, indeed, Jacobs, as you see, the "Muslims" are not the only party that has extremists, no.
Zionist extremists such as Rabbi Yaacov Perrin, quoted in the New York Times on February 28,1994 on page 1:
"One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail."
In 1949 the United Nations counted 711,000 Palestinian refugees. But according to your first Prime Minister they don't exist.
In 2005, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency estimated 4.25 million Palestinians and their descendants were refugees from their homeland.

The Israeli policy of evicting non-Jews has continued for six decades. On June 19, 2008, the Laity Committee in the Holy Land reported in Window Into Palestine that the Israeli Ministry of Interior is taking away the residency rights of Jerusalem Christians who have been reclassified as "visitors in their own city."
On December 10, 2007, MK Ephraim Sneh boasted in the Jerusalem Post that Israel had achieved "a true Zionist victory" over the UN partition plan "which sought to establish two nations in the land of Israel." The partition plan had assigned Israel 56 percent of Palestine, leaving the inhabitants with only 44 percent. But Israel had altered this over time. Sneb proudly declared: "When we complete the permanent agreement, we will hold 78 percent of the land while the Palestinians will control 22 percent."
Sneb could have added that the 22 percent is essentially a collection of unconnected ghettos cut off from one another and from roads, water, medical care, and jobs. (courtesy of Paul Craig Roberts former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury 1981-1985)
So you see that the Israelis have their fair share of "mind poisoning megalomaniacs".
You want to talk about tribal, medieval barbarism? Well, On February 8, 1988, Newsweek magazine quoted an Israeli soldier: " We got orders to knock on every door, enter and take out all the males. The younger ones we lined up with their faces against the wall, and soldiers beat them with billy clubs. This was no private initiative, these were orders from our company commander. . . . After one soldier finished beating a detainee, another soldier called him 'you Nazi,' and the first man shot back: 'You bleeding heart.' When one soldier tried to stop another from beating an Arab for no reason, a fist fight broke out." In the London Sunday Times, June 19, 1977, Ralph Schoenman, executive director of the Bertrand Russell Foundation, wrote: "Israeli interrogators routinely ill-treat and torture Arab prisoners. Prisoners are hooded or blindfolded and are hung by their wrists for long periods. Most are struck in the genitals or in other ways sexually abused. Most are sexually assaulted. Others are administered electric shock." A recent Amnesty International report concluded that "there is no country in the world in which the use of official and sustained torture is as well established and documented as in the case of Israel."

So, Ms. Jacobs, as you can see, and I have provided ample examples, while Muslim extremism most certainly does exist, those of us in the know realize that this extremism is also present on the other side of the coin, and in spades. There are two sides to every story, and despite your attempts to ensure that Canadians remain unaware, there are thousands of us who now feel compelled to speak up when we see examples of such poor, one sided editorial. Unfortunately, the opposite side is rarely either given the opportunity nor even permitted to have their side of the story addressed, which is one of the reasons why print media is becoming a slowly dying dinosaur.
Your attempt today to demonize and dehumanize Palestinians as the ones responsible for the inability of the Americans to achieve a lasting peace in the region is sad at best. I doubt anyone will be hearing the other side of the story in any of your columns anytime soon, yet you continue to call yourself a journalist. You are nothing more than a mouthpiece for one sided, disgusting propaganda. How DARE YOU point fingers at the Palestinian people and call for a change of attitude while completely ignoring the hatred that emanates from the leadership of Israel.

Monday Morning Mish-Mash (#3)

The Canadian government, never tiring of kissing ass when necessary, does the wrong thing and apologizes to the torturers for telling the truth.
Canada gets a tongue lashing from our Israeli and American torturer friends and Zionist Bob Rae agrees wholeheartedly here.
Peter Worthington, Neo-Con extraordinaire, admonishes Stephane Dion for not wanting to send more Canadians to die in Afghanistan.

Ron Paul places second in Nevada, but some in the mainstream media want to distort reality.
Its MLK Day and its time for another Ron Paul moneybomb. Send in those donations.

Israel continues the mass starvation of Gaza while the UN sits on its hands.

HUGE DISPARITIES FOUND IN NEW HAMPSHIRE RECOUNT. And of course the media is complicitly silent, once again.

An excellent article by Walter Williams regarding California's plant to regulate its citizens thermostats. Its the fast track towards tyranny, and there is no end in sight.

Christopher Bollyn digs deeper into 911, here with a story about Jerome Hauer, terrorism "expert" extraordinaire.

Monday Morning Mish-Mash #2

Canadian Jewish Congress attempts to muzzle criticism of Israel here.

Meanwhile, hardcore Zionist, war drummer and publisher Ezra Levant is made out to be some kind of hero for free speech here.
Remember folks, if the vitriol is directed to Muslims, it just an excersize in free speech, but if its directed towards Israel or Zionism, then it is "hate". One question for Mr. Levant: Where were you while other Canadians were being dragged through kangaroo courts for their views? Either you support free speech or you don't.
I am by no means condemning Ezra Levant. He should be able to print and say anything he believes. However, as long as a double standard exists, where attacks against Muslims are trumpeted in the Zionist media as "free speech", while the Canadian Jewish Congress attempts to shut down penny newspapers for thought crimes against Israel, I will not condone him either. If Levant starts speaking out firmly in his publications for free speech for ALL VIEWPOINTS, including those in opposition to Israel and radical Zionism, then I will consider him a true crusader for free speech.
That being said, I believe all free speech is a right and not a privilege, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission is a joke.
That being said, however, it seems some free speech is more equal than others.

Gandhi's grandson blasts the Israeli government and radical zionism here.

Excellent Eric Margolis article regarding the US election. Eric Margolis has always tells it like it is, his analysis is bang on, truthful and more mainstream news media journalists could take some lessons from him. He puts most journalism hacks to shame.

More on the Sibel Edmonds cover-up, she is starting to name names, and of course, the story is being met with silence by the mainstream media.

The Japanese Senate hears a presentation regarding the 911 cover-up.

SunMedia's Peter Worthington: Zionist Windbag

Peter Worthington, Toronto Sun columnist, never met a Neo-Con ass he didn't want to pucker up and kiss.
Here, Peter gushes about Rudy Julie-Annies bravado and resolve. Of course his analysis does not mention record breaking fundraiser and America-firster Ron Paul.

And the response of this blogger to this nonsense:

You know its time to put Peter Worthington on the shelf when he gushes on about Rudy Giuliani's leadership, courage and resolve in regard to the US presidential primaries.
Perhaps Worthington would like to wow us with the details of Rudy's wonderful leadership skills and his fiery resolve? What new ideas has Rudy presented to the American people? What has Rudy actually presided over other than the worst failure to protect to the American people from terrorism in their history, and the disdain of New York City firefighters and residents for his politicizing of the 911 attacks? Giuliani can barely make a speech without failing to mention how he was present and mugging for the cameras on that horrible day.
The other mainstream candidates, from warmed over, bumbling, barely able to show up ex-Senator and TV actor Fred Thompson to the immaculately coiffured, Janus-faced Council on Foreign Relations insider Mitt Romney, are the kind of politicians who make George W. Bush look inspirational. Granted Mike Huckabee is a fantastic speaker and does well in debates but how are any of his ideas any different than the failed neo-conservative policies of the last seven years? Is Peter Worthington watching the same debates the rest of us are watching?
It's also not surprising to see Worthington being as predictable as ever and failing to mention in his "analysis", the only REAL conservative in the Republican primary, Dr. Ron Paul, who has broken numerous fund raising records through grassroots activism. Of course he is not a "real" candidate to hacks like Worthington because he doesn't represent the military industrial complex and their never ending Wars on Terror, which Worthington for some reason seems to be so fond of.
Please retire Peter Worthington and his out of touch, neo-conservative syncophant commentary before he embarasses your publication any further.
