Canada's 'terrorists" held in legal limbo. In June 2006, eighteen Muslim men and boys – all Canadian citizens, and all but one between 15 and 25 – were arrested in a highly publicized scoop. Within hours of their arrest the police had held a press conference. But at the same time, a publication ban on court proceedings silenced the defendants. As a result, the trial of the men who would become known as the Toronto 18 was done by the newspapers and networks, the young men guilty were found guilt as charged by the media.
This is detention without trial, and it is disgusting. Put them on trial, and lets see the evidence.
By all accounts, it is flimsy.

A growing number of active duty soldiers or recent Iraq war veterans are speaking up about the war in Iraq. And with the number of soldiers speaking up about their experiences in Iraq via online forums, blogs and pamphlets, some vets feel it's their duty to let the American public know the truth.
